Business Continuity Plans
A Business Continuity Plan, also called a Continuity of Operations Plan, is a part of your emergency preparedness program and fits together with your Emergency Operations Plan when activated. The 2017 CMS Emergency Preaparedness Rule describes a need for a plan for continuity of operations as part of a comprehensive, "all-hazards" approach.
