The first in series is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2014. CAHF's Public Affairs Director Deborah Pacyna will facilitate a webinar on Crisis Communications. Anywhere and anytime, your facility could be hit by an emergency event that requires immediate effective communication and media management. This session explores the foundations of effective crisis communication, looks at the “do's” and “don’ts” and explores the ever-changing world of disaster social media. Participants will learn how to create an effective crisis-communications plan that promotes your positive actions, tips on how to create the right messages for key stakeholders and the importance of being up to date on the use of social media during disasters.
